Who do you serve?
Mt. Sinai Center for Health and Wellness provides health services for anyone who is homeless and uninsured individuals who live Orange County and whose income falls at or below 200% of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Where are you located?
Our health center is located on the church’s main campus, which is 5200 South Street in the Little Egypt Community. We are at the furthest point south on Pine Hills Rd. which turns into Nome Rd once you cross Old Winter Garden Rd. We are just a few minutes pass the Shell Station on the corner of Old Winter Garden Rd. and Pine Hills Rd.
What services do you offer?
We offer primary care services for those with both chronic and urgent care needs. We provide prescription assistance, as well as referrals to community agencies to ensure the needs of the whole individual are met.
What proof of income do you accept?
No proof of income is required.
Where does your funding come from?
The Mt. Sinai Center for Health and Wellness Inc is funded by the members of Mt. Sinai M.B. Church. Fundraisers are held periodically throughout the year to assist in ensuring the health center can continue its mission.
What are your hours of operation?
The hours at our clinic are Tuesdays from 6 pm to 9 pm. These hours are subject to change, so please contact us at 407-299-0766 for any exceptions or changes.
Do you accept private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare?
As we care for uninsured or homeless patients, those we private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare are ineligible to receive services.
How do I make an appointment?
You can make an appointment by calling 407-299-0766, and leave a message on someone will return your call within 24 hours, but we gladly accept walk-ins
What should I bring with me on my first visit?
You should bring identification - this may be a driver’s license, a state issued photo ID, or a birth certificate if you do not have a driver’s license to verify your date of birth.
Do you charge for your services?
Primary care and urgent care services are provided free of charge to those who qualify. Patients will have an out of pocket expense for medications, and tests. Assistance however is available in certain circumstances.
